The treasure reported a balance of $7,014.49 No more news from the IRS on our 501(c) 3 status. Annual Web site fees of $299.30 were paid. Sprockids program was awarded a $3,000 grant from REI sporting goods store. The memorandum of understanding between the Boise City Parks Department and SWIMBA is moving forward. Ridge to Rivers and Idaho State Parks may apply for trail grant for a portion of Dry Creek. They will seek matching funds for a 50-foot bridge. A title sponsor could get a plaque on the bridge. SWIMBA voted to contribute 350 volunteer man-hours to help build the bridge. Details and dollar figures for the project to come from Tim Breuer. An adopt a trail type program was discussed as a way for SWIMBA to actively participate in ongoing trail maintenance in the Boise Front. SWIMBA voted to endorse such a program. Tim and Chris are to draft a formal proposal for the SWIMBA and Ridge to Rivers trail maintenance agreement.
