Bob Roehl resigned.  Tom Foote moved for Lisa Hawkes to take his position on the board.  Jodi Peterson seconded the motion.  It passed unanimously. 

Tom Foote provided the treasurers report.  Income for the month $365.87; expenses $1,397.71; committed funds $16,787.50.

Kudos were given to Mike Dorey for his work with Summit Fest.

Dave will look into looking into a SWIMBA forum for us that might work better for board members who are unable to access the Google Groups site. 

Velopark Skills Park update- Chris Cook.  3 lines have been flagged.  Expects about 6 months for project completion/ around January 2009.  Requests $4983.83 for tools and supplies. 

Velodrome service project.  ½ mile of trail needs to go in.  Volunteers can also work on Rabbit Run trail to the north trailhead. 

Trailpalooza- Jodi Peterson.  It will be 14 September at the Velopark.  SWIMBA has an invitation to participate.  Contract will be finalized 2 weeks prior to event. 

4 October is Take Your Kid Mountain Biking day. 

Tour de Fat-  Still need volunteers.  Jill Giese will bring a laptop for the SWIMBA booth to sign members up on the spot.  Bob Roehl will bring extension cords. 

Dave Beck- Need for educators/mentors/coaches.  Discussion regarding whether SWIMBA is the best fit.  Perhaps SWIMBA should put a call for volunteers on the website?  Further exploration with the Education Committee for more ideas. 

Bob Roehl provided some final thoughts for his last night as a board member.
